When I started my first job as a teen at Tim Hortons, I instantly took a liking to the regular seniors that would frequent my store, and soon learnt their orders and would often have their orders prepared before they got to the counter. Being able to make their day just by a simple kind gesture really touched me. This lead me to find work in a retirement home. In 2015 I worked as a dietary aide at the Chartwell Lynwood Retirement Residence in Chilliwack. It was here that my passion to care really blossomed. I enjoyed speaking with residents, connecting and listening to their stories. These experiences led me into Healthcare. Throughout my practorship I was consistently praised by my instructors for my exceptional organizational skills, my ability to connect with patients, and my commitment to providing top quality care. I have a proven track record of being able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while still providing excellent care to patients. In my practorship at Kinsman Lodge, I was the lead of my floor. I frequently looked in and helped my fellow classmates with their patients while maintaining the same high level care to my own patients. I am passionate about helping people and I take great pride in providing quality care. An avid animal lover, and mom of two young children; I am fun loving, easy to talk to, with a passion to care.
