Hello, my name is Perpetual, a devoted and compassionate caregiver, bringing my warmth and dedication to exceptional care for seniors. I embarked on my caregiving journey two years ago, taking personal care of my father-in-law and grandmother, and these experiences deepened my commitment to making a difference in the lives of our seniors. My formal background as a Laboratory Assistant, coupled with my certifications in First Aid, CPR, and as a Personal Support Worker, equip me well for this role. Over the past years, I have gained valuable experience in both home care and retirement homes, care for patients diagnosed with Alzheimer's, Dementia, Stroke, Prostate disorders, and Diabetes. My skill set includes a wide range of duties; from personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and administering medication, to chores like housekeeping and grocery shopping. Located currently in Waterloo, I am flexible to relocate and willing to travel as required. I am also readily available, capable of working throughout the week, from the morning until night shifts. In addition to my caregiving role, I proudly identify as a mother, with the experience of working with children with disabilities. My ultimate goal is to secure full-time employment as a caregiver or Personal Support Worker in a retirement home or home care setting.
