I’m a healthy, effervescent, compassionate, loving woman. I am the most proud mama of two brilliant grown sons and
best friend and wife of 40 years to my hubby Dave.
I’ve recently retired from WestJet as a flight attendant and am enjoying a different pace of life. We love to travel, eat great food, enjoy good music, and make new friends along the way.
I find peace in my perennial gardens or reading a book by the water. I enjoy hiking, biking, designing and decorating, and entertaining friends with home made cooking.
I’ve owned several businesses over the years and had varied careers with a common thread of building and nurturing relationships. That’s whats most important to me~ people.
I was trained as a multi service worker with Brewster Healthcare at a private care facility.
I prepared and served meals, did light house keeping, initiated and facilitated a social program, spent one on one time with residents stimulating emotional and social interaction.
In caring for and loving family’s loved ones, we shared mutual respect and developed deep meaningful relationships. I honour, respect and am grateful for the gift of time to share with those filled with wisdom of life well lived.
Additional Experiences/Qualifications:
I was enduring POA and full time advocate for my older sister who is a stroke survivor with many challenges. On her arrival back to Canada in regards to care, facilities and staff, funding, appts, social programs, government, and family liaison.
I assisted her with personal care, budgeting, provided her vacations and care.
