I have experience taking care of a stroke female. I do full care on her since she is bed bound. My routine includes: Medication and Tube Feeding via PEG, Vital Signs Monitoring Input and Output monitoring Giving injections (blood glucose monitoring; insulin and anticoagulant injections) Morning care (eye and oral care; perineal care; bed bath 3X a week) Range of Motion Exercises Log rolling every 2 hours Catheter and Feeding Bag change weekly Assess for bed sore and signs of infections Nebulization and suction as needed Documentation and Recording Coordinating with other health care team Light housekeeping I also have experience being a companion to an 89 years old female with mild dementia. My routine includes: assisting her in shower and dressing, giving eyedrops and topical cream, assist in preparing and cooking meals, assist in monitoring her blood sugar, remind her of her oral medications, assist her in walking up or down the stairs or even getting in or out of the car, assist in nebulizing as needed, assist in applying suppository as needed, Accompany her to doctor's appointments, laboratory tests and personal errands like attending mass or grocery shopping.
