Hello, my name is Janice, and I am a woman from Edmonton. I am looking for a full-time Caregiver/Companion role, with a preference for a live-out arrangement. I am available for work any day of the week, morning to night, and can start working immediately. Even though I don't carry any professional working experience, I provide daily care for my 76-year-old mother, which has illuminated my passion for healthcare and driven me to seek formal employment in this field. My personal experience makes me a compassionate, empathetic, and dedicated caregiver. I am willing to help in any way possible to ensure the comfort and well-being of my clients. I'm able to travel and relocate for work and possess a driver's license. While I don't have a personal vehicle to use on the job, I am capable of accomplishing various tasks including housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping, meal planning/preparation, and running errands. I am well-equipped to care for patients affected by Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Dementia, Cancer, Stroke, Diabetes, and those in Hospice Care or bedridden. Regardless of the condition, I am ready to provide thoughtful and diligent care. In addition, I am a non-smoker and comfortable working with children with disabilities. Although I can't swim, I am qualified in Caregiving/Companionship and am fluent in English.
