Trained as a health care aide -have worked with troubled youth with high behaviours and with the fragically ill seniors -palliative care . Love working with people and helping them to stay comfortable in their own homes . I have worked with many adults with mental illness and have supported them in living life as "normal as possible" . I have taken many clients for drives and and outings as well to keep them inlcuded in the community . I promote independence and strive to keep people active and love the companionship of older people especially and developing strong patient/ staff relationships within professional boundaries .

I have worked in group disability homes and homes with high behaviors . I have worked with long termn care and seniors . I am trained in palliativw care and dementia and also have trauma based care training . I currently have first aid level c and cpi training as well as medical admininstration . I worked many years in a hospital in auxiliary nursing position. I love people and have great communication skills and helping people to live in their homes with a little help is my focus .
