I am a recently retired Kindergarten teacher, lover of babies, kids and pets. I am kind, fit, strong, positive and enthusiastic. I am looking for a flexible, casual work schedule, that allows me time to enjoy my retirement and interests. I am available for short term help as well (caring for a baby for a new Mum who just desperately needs a nap or a shower, an extra pair of hands when a parent travels for business). My specialty is infants and toddlers. After my career with little kids I have iron-strength immunity and am not put off by germs, pee, poop or barf. Do you need a sitter for date night? I am comfortable with all aspects of your child's day (feeding, play time, walks, clean up, bedtime). I am the very proud Mum of two sons and two rescued dogs. My interests include hitting the gym most days, walking the dogs, reading, music, camping, skiing and road trips.

I am a recently retired Kindergarten teacher and realized when I retired that I was missing "being needed". I am best described as a "helper" and enjoy helping people who wish to live independently. I do not have medical training but have experience helping my elderly parents live independently. I currently have a small job assisting a senior lady with her laundry, cleaning, taking her to appointments and grocery shopping. I am also an activities director for a seniors' group a few hours a week. I recently completed a one day a week respite care position. My position included some light housekeeping, preparing a lunch and keeping a lady company while her caregiver had some time off.
