Tania A.
I am Alejandra, and I live with my husband in the city of Toronto. We come from a Colombian family. My husband is on the verge of starting his studies on September 5th. He has his study permit, and I have my open work permit. He will be able to work part-time, and I will be able to work full-time. We are a couple passionate about success, personal and professional progress, and we are also enthusiastic about animals. As for my experience in the field of animal care: 2019-2020 ComeDogs - "Colitas del Distrito" - Administered medication to sick animals - Fed them daily - Bathed them - Walked them daily 2019-2020 Animalton (charity event) - Raised funds for the neediest animals - Sought sponsors to support animal welfare initiatives - Provided free vaccination services - Collaborated in the development of adoption campaigns
During a one-year period, I carried out tasks at the "ComeDogs" Colitas de Distrito Foundation, located in the city of Cali. My role involved supervising and caring for a population of approximately 15 cats and 10 dogs. My responsibilities encompassed various tasks, including providing food, bathing, vaccination, and walks for these animals. Furthermore, I played an active role in animal welfare initiatives within the local community as part of a collaborative team. During these events, we offered a variety of services to the community and conducted fundraising campaigns aimed at improving the quality of life for abandoned or specially-needing dogs and cats. A significant aspect of my work involved rescuing animals that were in situations of abuse, neglect, or abandonment. These rescues were followed by adoption campaigns, where we sought to find responsible new homes for these pets, thereby giving them a chance for a dignified and loving life.
