Pets first and foremost need respect, I treat them as another loving living being on earth who requires more than just food, water, and shelter. But also love, warmth, affection, grooming, joy, excitement, and attention. Viewing animals through this lens means taking care of them isn’t work, it’s love and support. That doesn’t mean I’m new to the actual work involved though when it comes to feeding, cleaning, coat maintenance, nutrition, safety, attending to special needs, oral hygiene, administering medication, and so on. I am a social worker with a passion for helping others (human and animal) and like to spend time both on walks outdoors as well as cozy indoors.

I currently have 4 exotic pets (Guinea and skinny pigs) and have previously been a dog, cat, and fish owner! Very passionate about taking care of animals, and love all kinds!
