I love being with animals and gaining their trust. I have sat in piles of hay for over 3 months to get an abused horse to allow me to touch him. I was able to gain his trust where other people failed and when he left my care he was a calm, even tempered animal. I have gained the trust of an abused pitbull and helped him trust people beyond his family circle. I have cared for many pets amd animals from my childhood hobby farm. I would love to bring the same care and love to your family of pets. Dogsitting - 13 years old. I took care of purebred toy poodles that were indoor dogs only. I was responsible for daily feeding, grooming and changing the paper they used to go to the bathroom. As a teen I also cared for other peoples hors while they were out of town. This included feeding twice daily, moving pastures, checking for injuries and grooming. Most recently I house sat 2 indoor cats and 3 fish tanks for a week. I had to distribute the cat food in small doses as one of them would gorge themselves and get sick. The fish were fed twice daily and I had to maintain the water levels which included treating the water. After that job I house sat a dog for 5 days. He required a short walk in the morning and a longer walk/run in the evening. I followed the clients feeding plan, cleaned up after the walks and any accidents in the house. I have personally had pets since I was 4 years old and I was always involved in their care and training. I have a calm presence with animals and quickly adapt to their personality and energy.
