I worked approximately 11 years As a Community Disabilities Support Worker both in agencies and in a private family home. I worked with adults with various disabilities as a friend, teacher, counselor etc.. I would take them out on outings, volunteer work, grocery shopping and assist in all manners of daily life. I've also babysat off and on throughout the years. As a Community Disabilities Support Worker I was always required to have a vulnerable persons police check done and though I'm not certified in car right now I've taken the courses several times. Most recently I babysat for my pastors children for about a year and have also participated in my church's vacation bible school with about 50 children. At one point in my younger years I watched 30 children by myself at the Sheriff Kings Women's Center when they had no one to watch the children one evening.
