About The Job: My name is Kelly. I'm looking for an honest, kind, resourceful housekeeper to work in our home in Winnipeg, Manitoba. My hope is to find a detail oriented, self-motivated and caring individual to provide personal housekeeping for our family two to three mornings per week or approximately 8-12 hours per week. Details: Our busy family of five plus two fur babies (hypoallergenic) is in need of more than "just cleaning" :) - I am hoping you can be someone who is more of a mother's/household helper. Basically, assisting me with all of the many household jobs including thorough cleaning, laundry (wash and put away), organizing, plant care, washing and changing bedding, maintaining a list of required household supplies and so on. I would especially appreciate someone who is good with the details such as organizing, re-organizing, nice folding of towels, or making suggestions as to how we can do things better! I see it as a team effort where I am also doing the work when you are not there and together, we make the household run great! Things like being able to drive, occasional babysitting for the youngest, and cooking are bonuses but not required. Some housecleaning and childcare experience is preferred but even if it is for your own family or extended family, that is great. A warm heart is essential. :) As I mentioned, we are a busy family of 5 - children aged 16, 14, and 7 years as well as a 6lb hypoallergenic non-shedding Japanese Chin (he is sweet and VERY low maintenance!) and an 18lb sweet and loving Cavapoo. My husband must travel a lot for work and so I am busy being mom as well as working on my graduate degree and running a small business. I am grateful for having much flexibility in my pursuits though so I can be flexible with my family's needs.
