We're Stefan and Tatiana, located in Yaletown (Downtown Vancouver) and we are searching for an experienced “Mommy’s Helper” that knows how to care for newborns. A mommy’s helper is someone who will be working alongside mom in the home to help her with whatever she needs. We're looking for someone to help care for our newborn child (currently 6 weeks old) on a part-time, live-out basis. Your primary purpose would be to make things easier for us as much as possible, by both helping with the newborn baby (helping to sleep, burping, changing diapers, etc), or by helping out with taking care of our home and our dog. The position requires housekeeping, doing laundry, dishes, and whatever else needed around the home. It also requires taking care of our Golden Retriever dog, Kobe. He's 2.5 years old and we'd like someone experienced with dogs to be able to take him for a walk, feed him and brush him. Light meal prep might also be required. Criminal record and background check required. We're offering a competitive hourly rate of $27.00 for the right candidate. We'd initially want to do a test-run with the candidate, to ensure that we're a good fit. The schedule that we'd require someone would be: Monday to Friday, from 7AM until 11AM or 12PM with potential for extending the hours if needed.
