We are looking for a responsible housekeeper in Calgary. A brief background on our family - my wife (Emma) and two daughters (Marie age 6 and Maggie age 3) live in the Ramsay neighborhood. After taking off some time from work to focus on the kids and household, I am now returning to work at the end of the month. Given this change we are looking to bring in someone a few times a week to help with some of the household chores/tasks. Desired responsibilities include: weekly household cleaning - vacuuming, cleaning floors, loading/unloading dishwasher, dusting, cleaning bathrooms and bedrooms, wiping down surfaces, emptying garbage/compost/recycling; weekly laundry duties including washing, drying and folding; bringing in the mail; miscellaneous household projects (e.g. organizing closets/drawers, deep cleaning appliances, etc.). In addition to the above, we also have an older dog that would we like walked briefly (10 to 15 minutes). She is very friendly with people, albeit moving a littler slower these days at the age of 16. In addition to household cleaning, we would also like someone who could perform some meal prep such as simple dinners and kids lunches during the day (we are flexible with this request). Another desired but not required duty would be occasional babysitting. Both of our daughters (ages 3 and 6) are in school/daycare during the day, so this would be an occasional weekday evening or weekend for a few hours. Ideally, we'd like to have someone come by 2 to 3 times a week but we are flexible in terms of hours and schedule. Please apply if you think you'd be a good match for our family.
