My employer doesn’t need me anymore as the kids grown up, I worked with them for 9 years. I’m also working at Sunnybrook Hospital as environmental services (housekeeping) my duties as follows; -Cleans, mops, and sanitizes resident rooms, toilets, and baths. -Cleans windows, windowsills, window treatments, walls, and furniture. -Performs special cleaning of rooms, disinfects walls, floors and furnishings. -Cleans nursing stations, halls, lobbies, treatment rooms, recreation areas, lounges, and dining areas. -Stocks cleaning and linen carts. -Empties and cleans waste and trash containers. -Follows prescribed protocols for maintaining privacy and confidentiality of protected health information. Follows prescribed protocols for safety and infection control. Acts as Mandatory Reporter as defined in the Code of Iowa. Performs related tasks as required.

Keeping facilities and common areas clean and maintained. Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors. Cleaning and stocking restrooms. Cleaning up spills with appropriate equipment. Notifying managers of necessary repairs. Collecting and disposing of trash. Assisting guests when necessary.
