I worked as a health care assistant in London, UK for 3yrs and a living-in carer for 5yrs in Buckinghamshire, UK. My duties and responsibilities are assisting patient in daily routine(dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting & feeding). Helping on a day to day exercises, moving and handling from wheelchair to chair and other movement help. Checking vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse rate). Assisting in taking medications. Escorted to doctor's appointment, social interaction and other activities. Carry out grocery shopping, errands. Assist in daily activities and provide fun companionship. Prepare/cook meals. Tidy up and light household chores ( cleaning kitchen, bathroom, lounge, bedrooms).

As a private health care assistant in UK, aside from looking after my client(patient) at home, I have to make sure that the house is clean and organize. Tidy up and do household chores like cleaning the kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms, lounge, emtying the bins.
