I was born in British Guyana, South America and migrated to Canada in 1976. What can I say Canada is the only country I really know. I am a single mom with a grown adult daughter. I work full time with the Federal Government as a Technical Advisor and have been employed there for 34.5 years. Since battling cancer in 2013, I started volunteering with the Children's Aide Society as I really enjoy working with children. I enjoy the time with the children and families as I believe that everyone can afford to give up a few hours to make this world a better place (making a difference in the world one child at a time). I love swimming, gardening, painting, shopping, decorating and most of all driving. I love driving and enjoy long drives. I love animals and we recently adopted Star (American Bully). Over the last 2 years I lost my long time little 4 legged friends, Casper (bichon frize) and Blueberry (Rottwieler/Cane Corso) and King (Cano Corso). I lost my mom 2 years ago and I am the primary care giver for my dad. I think that is all for now. I will update this page if I think of anything else. :)

I have been a volunteer driver for the Children's Aide Society over 10 years, I have a very clean drivers abstract and I believe that I am a very safe driver. No parking ticket, speeding tickets etc., . I have a valid drivers abstract as that is a requirement when driving children and families. I have a current vulnerability check with the Police (another requirement when volunteering with children and families). I have a secret security clearance with the Federal Government (my full time job).
