Hello! My name is Sonam, a passionate 21-year-old cook based in Vancouver with one-year of diverse cooking experience. I am actively seeking a part-time position as a Private or Family Cook, Chef for Childcare/School, or even as a Pastry Chef. My desired start date is immediate and my flexible hours throughout the week ensure that I am readily available at most times from Monday to Sunday. I pride myself on my extensive knowledge of modern cooking techniques and maintaining sanitary and hygienic standards in the kitchen. My cooking skills are quite diverse, specializing in Indian and Vegetarian cuisine, but are not limited to these. An excellent pastry maker, I have had experiences in the confectionary industry and in catering. In addition to this, I am skilled in organizing and making food for events, baking, table setting, serving, purchasing products, and I also have experience in managing kitchen staff and helpers. Irrespective of the type of audience, I can create a menu to suit individual preferences and dietary needs while ensuring that the kitchen remains clean and efficient. Despite being originally Bhutanese, English has become my language of choice. While I currently do not have the capacity to relocate or travel for work, I am quite flexible in living arrangements and can manage in both live-in and live-out conditions.
