As a private chef, I find great pleasure in overseeing all the cooking-related chores which include shopping for fresh groceries, cooking, serving, and ensuring a neat and hygienic kitchen area. My availability is mostly during the mornings and mid-day on Mondays and Tuesdays, with a willingness to work evenings on Fridays and Sundays but I am also flexible and can accommodate various schedules. I am open to both full-time and part-time positions, and I am willing to travel for work. Over my professional & personal journeys, I have become adept at tasks like menus building, meal plan & prepping, baking, children's meals, kitchen cleanliness, cooking for events, and daily meal preparation. I am also experienced in supervising staff and accepting specific orders from employers and I enjoy creating custom menus that take into consideration the specific preferences of my employers. While i'm skilled in modern cooking techniques, I also always adhere to sanitary and hygienic standards. My culinary creativity has not yet been restricted to any specific cuisine and i can comfortably whip up Canadian, Italian, Middle Eastern, Vegetarian, Mexican, Vegan, Eastern European, and Indian dishes. Added to this, I am versed in English and Ukrainian. My credentials comprise of a valid Food Handler Certification, 10+ years of self-teaching & several cooking classes. While I do not currently possess a police check, I am more than willing to obtain one if requested. I am also a non-smoker and given that I have a valid driver's license and a personal vehicle available for use, commuting will never be an issue. I worked for a large family for multiple years as a live out & in Chef in charge of groceries, meal plan / prep & clean up both at daily & weekly levels & my only reason for leaving that family was due to a relocation for family purposes.
