Hello! My name is Molly and I am a 30-year-old professional chef, recently moved from Ottawa to Calgary with my furry friend, Abigail. When we're not enjoying the beautiful outdoors, we love cozying up at home while I whip up delicious meals. With over a decade of experience in the restaurant industry, covering roles from dishwashing and bartending to cooking, I've developed a passion for French fine dining. However, I equally enjoy preparing a range of Asian-inspired dishes at home. At heart, I am enthusiastic about curating culinary experiences that bring joy to people through good food. I'm open to various types of employment such as a private/personal cook, family cook, chef for events and cook for childcare/school. I specialize not only in cooking, but also in a wide range of tasks like table setting, baking, kitchen maintenance, food shopping, dishwashing, meal planning for events, crafting dietary meals, as well as overseeing kitchen staff and helpers. I am adept at preparing a range of cuisine types from Canadian to Japanese, Thai to Kosher, not forgetting vegan and vegetarian options. With cutting-edge cooking technology and strict sanitary standards high on my agenda, I also bring strong management skills to the table and a knack for professional plating - all attributes I cultivated while obtaining my Culinary Arts Diploma and my Food Handler's Certification. I am available throughout the week and am flexible to fill in morning, afternoon, or evening shifts whenever needed.
