I'm a mom of two wonderful kids with additional support needs. I am the main caregiver, and my husband is currently working about 10 hr days. Because he also does the vast majority of cooking, he is getting really exhausted. We need someone to help out with all of the kitchen stuff. Importantly, we are mostly vegan. We don't eat meat or eggs (as ingredients, not as "may contain"). The kids eat dairy, but my husband and I don't.
In terms of childcare, it would also be fantastic to get help taking care of the kids, while we're home at first, and maybe later without us being there (possiblyon weekends). The kids are both autistic and will need time to warm up, so starting with meal prep, so that they can get to know you, would probably be best. Our kids are both very loving and able to communicate verbally. We believe that our kids' needs matter a lot, especially because they have neurodevelopmental challenges. We try to accommodate their needs whenever possible, and although there are some rules and boundaries, we mostly believe that strong relationships with caregivers is most important for them.
