Kind Patient and Caring Elder Caregiver / Companion required Part Time . This would be 3-5 hrs per day (once or twice a week at most). Days can be often altered during week to fit with your availability, but most be during week (M-F - during business hours) so that we can take care of business. Rare occasion one of the days could fall on a Saturday. Required is experience, references and criminal or vulnerable person check. ***PAY is $14.00 CASH per hour to take care and watch over her, while we take care of errands. *** Location is in East Transona/Canterbury Park area. ** DUTIES Watching over her keeping her safe and she DOES need HELP getting up and sitting down and walking (even though she has walker). Kind conversation and lots of reminding her who you are :) She will also need to be shown where washroom is when she needs to go to bathroom She will need you to guide her there each time and take gentle lead with things because she will get disoriented. She has really no memory at times. You will need to take gentle lead. Guiding her to bathroom or bedroom , every time because she gets confused (even in our home this happens.) Reassuring her who you are, and reminding her that we will come home soon, many times. Giving her water, a drink and snacks if needed (we will supply these). She will always refuse food but we ask that you just give it to her... Being naturally kind and caring is huge. Understanding and Patience is HUGE. Helpfulness is huge...amd just having a nice time watching some TV generally. We do have dogs upstairs that are very barky and so they must remain upstairs and we ask that you and Mum stay in the finished basement while we are away (entire time). Thank you Thank you
