I am a 64-[/year-old woman with MS confined to a wheelchair. I need help with all activities of daily living, including personal care, although I am fine cognitively. I am looking for somebody that has strong experience on a portable Hoyer lift as my disease has taken away my leg strength and I can no longer transfer myself. You should be fluent in English with good communication and organization skills. You should have cooking and housekeeping skills and be physically fit enough to help me with some basic stretching and strengthening exercises. I weigh about 150 pounds. I have a family which includes grandchildren and have a busy social life. I enjoy art and music and healthy cooking and eating. I live on the seawall close to the recreation centre and the library. I look forward to welcoming you as a member of my family soon. I am currently looking for somebody to work Saturday and Sunday shifts overnight as I live in caregiver. Ideally the person taking the shift would be able to work from 9 AM Saturday morning till 9 AM Monday morning. The person I hire must be legally allowed to work in Canada and have a social insurance number.
