We are looking for a caretaker to look after our 90 year old parents in Vancouver. They are both loving and caring individuals that have begun to lose their ability to live alone and look after themselves safely. They do enjoy their privacy so this role will allow the individual ample downtime after their needs are look after. Main responsibilities include, assistance with getting up in the morning, bathing, escorting them to and from the bathroom, meal prep, exercise, cleaning and additional needs as required. Looking for someone who could work day or night. Alternatively if you are looking for a Full Time Live In option we are open to that as well. If Live-In is an option we can provide a comfortable room in the home with TV. Internet and you will have access to the kitchen for meal prep. Ideally we would love to have someone for 5 days a week that can spend the night. The schedule can be catered to include days off or longer breaks during the day or night as we do have a large family that can step in to work out a desirable schedule. We do own a lovely cat, that is harmless and sleeps with my parents in their room at night and wanders their private area throughout the day.
