We are seeking a paid living care to live with a 76-year-old woman in West Vancouver, live in caregiver that will be responsible for her care 7 days a week only as needed for toileting & bathing. Skills and responsibilities include: • Caring Companionship and Conversation • Medication Reminders • Assisting with Mobility Difficulties • Personal Care (assistance with toileting, bathing, dressing) Requirements • Female applicants Only. Please. • Must have some form of training e.g., RCA • Must have at least 1-2 years of experience caring for the elderly. • Must have a good command of English and be able to converse with ease on a wide variety of topics • No history of criminal background • Passionate about providing care for elders • Must be compassionate, honest, reliable, confident, and highly sociable • Must feel confident in your ability to engage the Client in activities and conversation • Proof of eligibility to work in Canada or PR holder or citizenship • 2 professional references including telephone number Expectations would be for the 1 caregiver to share care throughout day and overnight and provide off time hourly as needed.
