Looking for a live in caregiver for my sister who is 51 years old, lives in a beautiful 2 bedroom apartment in North York on the Shepperd and Yonge Subway line. She suffered a stroke a few years ago, but is very independently living, and simply requires someone to live with her and help with medication reminders, meal preparation assistance, accompanying her to yoga and gym classes, and transitioning back to a healthy active lifestyle. It is a very comfortable position and with many opportunities for breaks throughout the days, evenings and weekends. There is a lovely large bedroom with windows, TV, ensuite bathroom with large shower and walk in closet for you to call home during the working week. It is a luxury building with great amenities such as a gym and yoga room and close to many shopping centres and grocery stores. Her current caregiver has been with her for about 2.5 years and is now pursuing education and needs her time off work. We may also consider hiring another part time caregiver that can offer relief on some weekends as well, so the hours for this position are Monday through Friday full days and overnight sleeping, with traditional weekends off. We are only looking for live in for the full time position, Monday to Friday, please only apply if this is your interest. We are interested in those that are permanent resident or need sponsorship. Strong communication and writing skills in English required, and nursing background preferred.
