We are looking for a part-time companion for a few hours per day that may translate to a long-term position if the fit is right. (We already have an overnight caregiver) My mother is 86, Italian, in a wheelchair and needs help with transfers to the bathroom occasionally only. The main task required is to help her with the transfers to go to the bathroom as a companion. She is otherwise independent and just needs a companion. Some very light housekeeping is also helpful. Very very easy work. My father does all cooking. She is a wonderful senior, very clean and sharp, but on a limited budget, so cash is preferable. Hours are negotiable. 30 hours/week 5 days/week - from 10 am to 4 pm. (or negotiable 11-5) Days and times are flexible. Paid weekly. Toronto - Dufferin/St. Clair area
