Employer: Private Household Position title: Caregiver (4412) Salary: CAD $16.00/hour Hours: 40 hours per week Anticipated start date: ASAP Terms of Employment: Full-time, permanent Location of work: St. Clair and Spadina Contact information: ***@*** Skills requirements: • Client focus, flexible and effective interpersonal skills; • Reliable and has excellent communication skills; • Must speak English; Work experience: • Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience; Education: • Completion of High School is required; Job description: • Provide care and companionship for epileptic adult; • Administer bedside and personal care such as aid bathing, personal hygiene, and dressing and undressing; • Plan and prepare meals and special diets, and feed or assist in feeding; • May perform routine health-related duties such as changing non-sterile dressings, assisting in the administration of medications • Perform light housekeeping duties, i.e. cooking, cleaning, and laundry; • Occasionally travel with family; • Must be flexible to work evenings and weekends, if needed; Optional: accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.
