I am a private individual seeking an experienced, caring, and patient caregiver for a part-time position. The preferred candidate will ideally have experience working with persons with disabilities and familiarity with managing conditions such as malnutrition and decubitus ulcers. This is a live-out position requiring a commitment of less than 20 hours per week. The work schedule necessary will cover mornings from Monday through Sunday. Preference will be given to someone who can start immediately. Tasks within this role span from personal health and grooming tasks to household chores. Job responsibilities will include ambulation assistance, bathing and toileting assistance, patient positioning and bed bath, along with dressing and grooming support. Range of motion exercise is also an important part of the job. Beyond personal health assistance, this role also includes some light housekeeping duties. The caregiver will be responsible for grocery shopping, meal planning and preparation, and running errands as required. Cleaning tasks including laundry, vacuum cleaning, dishwashing, and maintaining a clean bathroom will fall under the purview of this role as well. Furthermore, this role involves accompanying the person in your care to appointments, so a driving license is not mandatory but can be an added advantage. However, usage of a personal vehicle for automobile transportation will not be required in this role.
