The vacancy is available for immediate start, requiring full-time commitment of 40 - 50 hours per week. Daily duties will include helping her with activities of daily living such as housekeeping, meal planning/preparation, laundry, grocery shopping, and cleaning her bathroom. You will also be asked to assist with pet care, vacuuming, and escorting her to appointments. The ability to plan visits, outings, and trips to visit her neighbours, friends, and family is highly appreciated, as this will help her maintain her sense of adventure. This position is live-in which means you will sleep and live in her home. Therefore a driver's license and automobile are required, as you may have to run errands or possibly go on adventures. Preferred work schedule: - Monday to Friday: morning, middle of day, evening, night - Tuesday: night, evening, morning, middle of day This role provides candidates with a chance to showcase their compassion, patience, understanding, and previous experience in dementia care.
