Job Title: Senior Caregiver - Live-In Job Location: Ottawa, ON Start Date: October 1, 2023 Job Type: Part-Time Live-In Position Working Hours: Less than 4 hours per day, 20 - 30 hours per week. Required availability during mornings and nights from Monday to Sunday. I am a private individual seeking a compassionate, patient, and kind caregiver to care for a loved one with moderate Alzheimer's. This live-in position offers a fully paid one-bedroom accommodation complete with a bathroom. Utilities such as Wi-Fi, cable, and Netflix are included. Responsibilities: - Providing daily medication during the morning and evening - Grocery shopping - Meal planning, preparation and cooking once or twice a week - Light housekeeping duties in a 2 bedroom condo - Weekly changing of bed linen - Laundering household clothing items, towels, and bed linens - Escorting to appointments - Providing companionship as required Requirements: - Minimum of 3 years of caregiving experience with references - Proficient in English - Must hold a valid driver's license and clean driving record - Possess a personal car for use A gas subsidy is offered as part of the employment agreement and groceries will be subsidized to accommodate meal preparations. Remuneration is commensurate with experience, and details will be discussed during the interview process.
