Hello, Great opportunity for someone who'd like to relocate to North Vancouver and trade a certain number of hours per month ( to be determined) of homecare/ seniors care for free accommodation. The suite is a fully self contained 1 bedroom with own entrance, is furnished and could possibly include cable/ internet. It is also only 2 blocks to bus route. My parents are in their mid to late 80s and are both generally independent ( Mom still drives) but the plan is to gradually introduce a higher level of seniors care in the coming months. Duties at the present time will involve typical light house keeping, washing dishes, laundry ( one or two times per week)/ putting out recycling and garbage as well as keeping exterior walkways safe by sweeping/ spreading salt etc This arrangement would give the successful applicant the ability to work outside of the house as there would only be approximately 2 hours per day required. All applicants must have a Care Aide / Health Care Assistant Diploma or be a Foreign-trained Registered Nurse or have applicable experience.
