Job Expectations for a Live in Contractor Position: -Live 3-5 days with client -Speak Italian - Ensure that the emotional, spiritual and physical comfort and safety of clients are met to the greatest possible extent on an on going basis. - Morning duties may include assist with personal hygiene, skin care, mouth care and general routine as required. - Assist the client with all meal preparation, planning with all meals and snacks through out the day. - Beware of medical history and any allergies. - Assist with household duties - examples of this are laundry, vacuum, dusting, wash bed linens and keeping a clean tidy environment. - Provide companionship and create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth personal interests and hobbies. - Shop and perform errands as needed (e.g groceries) as well as taking the client to medical appointments as requested - Remind clients to review daily range of motion exercises. - Charting progress notes daily with any changes in the clients conditions, bowel routine, skin breakdowns and significant changes. - Notify case manager of any client and family concerns promptly - Cell phones are to be used for emergency only and keeping them on vibrate or mute while working with the client.
