We are seeking a live-in caregiver for our amazing mom, who is living with dementia and arthritis. Our mom is a retired nurse who loved to travel the world and loves to share stories about her past. While her arthritis keeps her pretty sedentary, and dementia has stolen her short-term memory, she still loves to chat, listen to music, and socialize. We fully recognize that this position will be as challenging as it is rewarding, and are working to ensure that you will have additional support to provide adequate time-off. This includes respite care (16hr every 2wks), and having mom participate in a local day-program two days per week. Transportation to and from her day program is provided by Canes, which picks her up and drops her off. If needed, we are open to having this as a shared position between 2 caregivers.
