A disabled man, 37, requires a full time, live-in companion and homemaker. Wages are negotiable and worker will live in the spacious home in Lethbridge, Alberta. Most weekends client will go to the family home, caregiver is also welcome to join in family activities. The caregiver can work outside of the home but should be available most weekdays. There is considerable flexibility and the parameters of the job include cooking, cleaning, yard work and interacting with the client. The client is in a wheel chair, but the home is fully wheel chair accommodating and accessible. He is fun loving, intelligent, interesting and motivated. The companion will be expected to interact with the client and accompany him on activities outside of the home. He has a care attendant who works with him from 9-4 daily. The job will evolve and grow as the client improves and needs more social engagement after 4 pm, daily.
