Seeking a compassionate personal care aide to provide part time ADL care for a 32 year old male with ALS in Walnut Grove, Langley area. Responsibilities include: personal hygiene such as showering, washing, toileting, dressing and grooming; meal preparation; tube feeding; medication assistance; *ventilator *tracheostomy care ceiling lift conversation and companionship Job Requirements: preference given to applicants with formal Care Aide training (willing to train suitable candidate); current First Aid certification; valid BC Drivers Licence; good command of English language; ability to communicate and listen effectively; no history of criminal background; must be honest, reliable, confident and sociable; a passion to help others.
