We are looking for a compassionate and reliable individual to provide companionship to an elderly person living in a nursing home. This is a non-medical role focused on social interaction and basic assistance (such as chatting, doing activities together, and helping walk with a walker for exercise). Initially, the job would be for 3 days a week to start (4-6 hour shifts). There is potential to increase to 5 days a week. The applicant should be kind, patient, and comfortable visiting a nursing home regularly. Prior experience with seniors is a plus, but not required. The duties for the job include: • Visiting and spending time with the senior • Talking, reading, or engaging in light activities • Providing emotional support and companionship • Assisting with short walks within the facility (if needed)
