We are in search of a caring, conscientious, and self-motivated individual to provide a mix of companionship, meal preparations, and housekeeping/cleaning duties for our elderly parents. Our mother is 89 years old, utilizes a walker, and has some cognitive decline. Our father is 90 years old and suffers from dementia. They are very sweet, tidy, easy to care for, love to tell stories, and prefer to be independent as far as personal care, but they could use additional companionship and help with daily tasks or needs. The ideal candidate would prepare healthy snacks/dinners and help keep the house spotless while also providing friendship and support. Work shifts can be flexible, ranging possibly from 4 to 6 hours per shift for 3 to 5 shifts weekly depending on each shift's duration. They are not morning people and enjoy sleeping in, so shifts in the afternoon or evening covering dinner time would be ideal.
