I am seeking in-home assistance for my aging parents (in their 80's). Although they are still somewhat mobile, being in their 80's with some health issues poses some daily challenges. He has early onset Alzheimer's / dementia. She has balance issues so has trouble walking without assistance - frequently falls. We are looking for someone to help with day to day things: groceries, easy meal prep, light house cleaning including laundry, changing bed sheets, cleaning kitchen and bathroom, mopping floors and vacuuming, etc. The cleaning is important as they have 2 cats in the home. Since they no longer have valid driver's licenses, they will also need to be accompanied to their doctor and dentist appointments and might assistance with other errands. You would be able to use their car for those errands or we would reimburse Uber rides if you don't hold a valid driver's license. The ideal candidate would be warm, kind, patient and have experience working with the elderly. Spending some time conversing with them as well as flexibility throughout the week would also be plusses. Compensation is negotiable.
If you're interested and believe you're the right candidate or have any questions/need more details, please message me here. I look forward to hearing from you.
