Companion care aide for a gentle and kind 60 year old male with Parkinson’s and early onset dementia. He is still very mobile but has cognitive impairment issues. Current needs require assistance with the following: Companionship, accompanying him for walks with our dog, (a car is not necessary but would be helpful to go walking at dog parks or the beach), helping prepare lunch, making sure meds are taken on time, stimulating by participating in conversations/activities with him - anything to help keep him socially interactive. There could be some housecleaning/tidying to be done during down time when he is napping (varies - 1 to 2 hours most days). Hours preferred to be 10am - 5 for 2 days a week or possibly 10am - 2pm 3 days a week. Can be flexible.
