We are looking for a caregiver to look after our Mom. Here is some information about Mom: - 81 years old - Approx. 200 lbs - She is soft spoken, a gentle soul but particular in her ways - Lives in her own home with our father (who is also elderly) - Has broken her hip, leg, and spine in separate falls in the past so she has mobility issues and uses a walker - Needs help getting in and out of chair/bed, climbing stairs, walking, moving objects - Needs massage, assistance with bathing and incontinence - Needs housekeeping, meal prep - Needs help to get groceries - Needs someone who is open to additional related duties as required. You will be a successful caregiver if you have the following traits/qualifications/equipment: - Clear criminal record within the last six months and an up-to-date mmunization record - Female because she will be more comfortable with a female - Mature, experienced and proven history of working with the elderly (at least in your 30’s and with 5 years experience) - Gentle, patient, understanding, reliable, attention to detail, loves to work with the elderly, "big heart" - Medical background preferred - While not a requirement, the ability to speak Hindi or Punjabi is an asset - A car to run errands is desirable
