The client is an 80yr old, South Asian female with spinal cord injury. She is alert and has good cognitive skills and is very interactive. She is educated, English speaking and engaged in current events. The PSW would be caring for her and her husband who is able bodied and also very attentive. Client offers a clean, family oriented environment. Role involves: transfers to/from bed to power wheel chair (Hoyer overhead lift) perineal care catheter care and bag drainage dressing/light washing assistance with meal prep / serving / cleaning assistance with socializing overall general monitoring The ideal candidate will have the above mentioned skills, and provide details when applying for the role.
