I'm seeking a compassionate and skilled senior/healthcare professional for a full-time position to help provide individual care to a family member. The preferred start date for this role would be as immediate as possible. The chosen candidate will be providing care/services for 40 to 50 hours per week. As the role is full time, I would require your assistance on a set schedule throughout the week. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays the help would be needed in the morning as well as the middle of the day. On Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays, it would be during the early hours. The tasks involved in the job include but are not limited to toileting assistance, bed pan usage, dressing and grooming assistance, housekeeping which involves cleaning the bathroom, vacuuming and laundry. The patient also requires bath assistance which may involve bed baths. A significant component of the job would be Alzheimer/Dementia care, as such familiarity or experience in this area would be greatly valued. Please note that this is a live-out position, and a driver's license will not be required as the use of an automobile is not applicable for this job role. A successful candidate will prioritize patient safety and comfort and will be diligent and responsible in their caregiving duties.
