I am a 27 year-old Master's student completing a degree in counselling psychology. I live with my husband, toddler and cat in Winnipeg. I enjoy arts & crafts, outdoor activities, reading and cooking. I have looked after children from newborns to 12 years of age, including multiple children at a time. I am looking for part time work while I complete my practicum.

I have looked after children since I was 12 years old, working for a total of five families. I have looked after up to 3 children at a time, including experience with newborns. My work experience has included taking children to activities, providing activities for children to do, cooking, and cleaning. On a few occasions I have worked overnight for a family. I also have my own child, who is now 3 years old and in daycare during the week. Barb was my neighbour for quite a few years, and I watched her daughter regularly over a span of 3-4 years. I started working for her when her daughter was 11 months and stopped when she turned 5 years old. I ended my employment when I received a retail job. Working for Barb included planning activities for her child, taking her child to daycare, cleaning, cooking, and the occasional overnight shift.

I worked for Kayla for a couple months last year a few times a week, while she attended school. I took care of her 6 month old daughter which included all aspects of regular infant care. I have also babysat for her on occasion over the past year. Unfortunately I wasn't able to schedule my classes in a way that let me continue working for her.
