Hello, I'm Casey, a fun-loving 22-year-old with four years of child care experience and a genuine passion for working with children. My natural affinity towards kids is accompanied by my extensive work at a daycare and a summer camp, where I enjoyed sharing my love for the outdoors and working to inspire joy and laughter on a daily basis. My dedication in caring for others reflects my core beliefs of kindness, acceptance, and community values. Aside from my childcare duties, I am also proficient in a multitude of housekeeping tasks, from cooking and grocery shopping to family laundry and event organizing. I am well-equipped to care for children of all ages - from toddlers to teens - and am willing to handle groups of four or more. As a former competitive cross-country skier, I am very active and love to keep children engaged with physical activities. In terms of availability, I can start immediately and am accessible for part-time roles, mainly throughout evenings and nights on weekdays, while I am available anytime on weekends. While I cannot relocate, I am able and willing to travel as I possess a driver's license and have access to a vehicle. Additionally, I am comfortable working with children with special needs. As for my qualifications, I hold high school graduation and also have First Aid and CPR trainings. I am also knowledgeable in catering to special dietary needs. Moreover, not only do I derive great joy from working with children, but I also endeavour to maintain a safe and caring environment at all times. I can also help with homework, pet care, and other required tasks. I have worked with children in a variety of settings. As a teenager and young adult, I taught swimming lessons and coached cross country skiing, as well as babysitting. In the last two years, I worked over the summer at Pioneer Camp Manitoba where I led cabins and canoe trips for children and youth between the ages of 8-17. Most recently I have been working at Rainbow Day Nursery where I am a childcare assistant and work primarily with children aged 2-5, however I do have experience with infants as well.
