My name is Tysa and I'm a university student with five years of childcare experience and my Standard First Aid/CPR certification. I'm currently studying Fashion Communications at Toronto Metropolitan University, but am back in my home town of Edmonton until the end of August. I consider myself a very creative and energetic individual, as my passions lay within art/design and my main hobbies include spending time in the gym or outside with my dog :) In Toronto, I work part-time as an afterschool nanny, where I watch over two girls by helping them with homework, playing games and making them dinner while their parents are working. I would love work with a family here in Edmonton who requires childcare over the summer break!

Since obtaining my babysitting license at age 13, I have babysat casually for family and friends, mainly during evenings and have always provided a fun and safe environment while parents were out of the house. Outside of my casual childcare experience, I have also worked long term roles including my year spent as a French tutor for a preschool aged child, my time spent as a babysitter in the summer of 2020 for two children (ages 5 and 6), and most recently my role as a part-time nanny for a wonderful family with two elementary aged girls (grade 3 and 5).
