Hello there, my name is Summer. I am kind, compassionate and patient. I consistently incorporate these traits in my everyday interactions with others. Not only do I possess a gentle and understanding nature, but I also maintain a notable level of professionalism. This is especially apparent during high-stress situations where I am expected to remain calm and composed under intense pressure. Moreover, I am well capable of handling multiple tasks at a given time, achieved through my excellent multitasking abilities. I have a knack for organizing my work and prioritizing tasks in such a way that allows me to manage my workload effectively. These skills enable me to complete assigned tasks not only in an efficient manner, but also within the requisite timelines.

I have just completed my diploma in early childhood education. I enjoy caring for children, planning fun and educational activities, and helping them reach their fullest potential. I have completed 3 placements throughout the completion of my diploma. I created and implemented program and activity plans for children of all ages. I was also required to care for and create a safe and caring environment for the all of the children. The first placement was at a daycare centre in a toddler room, I also worked there in the summer of 2023, caring for up to 10 toddlers at a time with the help of an ECA. The second placement was in a preschool room, caring for up to 24 children at a time with 3 other ECEs. The third placement was in an elementary school, caring for up to 25 children at a time with 1 other ECE and a teacher.
