Hello, My name is Katherine. I am a Mother of two grown men, but I still call them boys. I am ready to be a grandmother, but no luck yet. I truly enjoyed raising my children even if I had to work. I found a way to organise quality time with my children and manage all the life logistics. I have recently retired from a long time career as a Flight Attendant with a major Airline. I am still young and now I am enjoying working and walking on the "solid" ground for a change. During my years of service I had yearly training in safety, first aid with CPR (including infant and child) as well as mobility assistance and helping persons with disabilities. I had an opportunity to put the above mentioned training to practice and gain valuable experience. I have already worked as an assistant/ caregiver to an independent 93 year old lady and also as a nanny with a 7 month old baby. I find my recent experiences very enjoyable and rewarding. In my private life I enjoy travelling, visiting historical places, admire art and music. I like theatre and ballet/dance and frequently held season tickets to performances. I always take advantage of the festivals in Montreal and attend events. I like cooking and entertaining friends and family. I am a positive person and I smile a lot. During my career as a Flight Attendant I gained valuable experience in assisting parents with babies and young children. I always enjoyed and had good success in helping or finding inventive ways to keep children entertained and busy during longer flights. I also escorted young children and babies as their designated responsible Flight Attendant on international flights (I was there strictly to accompany and care for those children). Right now I am working part time as a nanny to a 7 month old baby. Additional Experiences/Qualifications: The number of the above mentioned duties would depend on the sum of tasks expected.
