I have a huge passion for working with youth and being in the outdoors. Having just graduated from my degree in Outdoor Adventure Leadership my plan is to eventually do a masters in social work and bridge my way into the field of adventure therapy. In the meantime I moved to BC to live with my partner, who is doing his masters in biology at uvic. I am hardworking, motivated, organized and spend all of my free time hiking, biking, snorkelling or canoeing/ kayaking.
My childcare experience goes back to when I worked as a swim instructor throughout high school. I worked with infants and parents through parent-and-tot lessons all the way up to 14 year-old kids chasing after their lifeguarding certifications. through this experience as well as my camp counselor experience I have worked with a broad range of age groups as well as abilities.
Bachelor of physical and health education specializing in outdoor adventure leadership. Minor in Psychology
