Hi there. My name is Jess. I am a twenty-two year old living in Victoria, British Columbia. I am currently studying English Literature at UVic. I am the oldest of five children, so I have been taking care of younger kids for over ten years. I am friendly and outgoing, and love working with children of all ages. I am able to work most days until about five p. m. ; I do have a part-time job that generally takes up my nights, from about 6-10, but if given enough forewarning, I am willing to switch shifts around to suit your needs. I have a wide and varied range of interests, from sitting inside, reading, writing, or watching movies, to going outdoors for walks or for day-trips. I hope to hear from you soon.

I have been babysitting for about ten years. I have done many night shifts, which include preparing dinner and snacks for the children; bathing them; playing games or watching movies until bedtime; and making sure they are tucked in and asleep by their bedtime. The age range for this has been from ages 2 to 9 years old. For daytime shifts, I have taken children on nature walks; done arts and crafts; played a variety of board games or with toys; and prepared breakfast, lunch, and snacks.

Having received my high school diploma in June 2010, I am about to enter my fifth and (hopefully) final year of my undergrad. I study English Literature at the University of Victoria. For the last year, I have been on exchange in England, where I studied English Literature at Keele University in Staffordshire.
